FAQs

Everything you need to know about the Wygleam 2-in-1 Electric Callus Remover & Nail File Kit — product details, usage, shipping, and foot care advice.

About the Product

What is included in the Wygleam kit?

The Wygleam 2-in-1 Electric Callus Remover and Nail File Drill Kit includes the main device, 20 sandpaper discs (various grits), a USB-C charging cable, a cleaning brush, and a user manual. Everything you need for professional foot and nail care at home.

How many speed settings does the Wygleam have?

The device has 3 speed settings. Speed 1 (low) is ideal for sensitive areas and light maintenance. Speed 2 (medium) works well for regular callus removal. Speed 3 (high) is designed for tough, thick calluses. Start on a lower setting and increase as needed — most users find Speed 2 sufficient for regular use.

How long does the battery last?

The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 45 minutes of continuous use on a full charge. Charging takes approximately 2 hours via the included USB-C cable. A charge indicator light lets you know when the device is ready to use.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. The Wygleam is designed with safety in mind — the fine-grit discs are gentle enough for sensitive skin when used on the lowest speed setting. We always recommend starting with Speed 1 and the finest grit disc if you have sensitive skin or are new to electric callus removers.

Is there a warranty?

Yes — all Wygleam products come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse or normal wear of consumable parts like sandpaper discs. Contact us to initiate a warranty claim.

Where can I buy replacement discs?

Replacement sandpaper discs are available in our Shop and on Amazon. Each refill pack includes 20 discs in assorted grits (fine, medium, and coarse) to suit different foot care needs.

Using the Wygleam Device

How do I use the 3-speed settings correctly?

Always start on Speed 1 for the first 30 seconds on any new area to assess how your skin responds. Move up to Speed 2 for regular callus removal on the heels and ball of the foot. Use Speed 3 only on the thickest, most stubborn calluses — and only after the area has been softened by soaking. Apply gentle circular motions and keep the device moving — don’t hold it still in one spot.

How do I replace the sandpaper discs?

The discs attach using a simple peel-and-stick mechanism. To replace, gently peel off the used disc from the rotating head and press a new one firmly into place. We recommend replacing discs after 3–4 uses for consistent results — worn discs are less effective and take longer to achieve results.

How do I clean and maintain the device?

After each use, remove the sandpaper disc and brush away any skin debris using the included cleaning brush. Wipe the device body with a slightly damp cloth. Do not submerge the device in water. Store in a dry place. With proper care, the motor unit will last for years.

Can I use it on my hands as well as feet?

Yes — the Wygleam works on any area with callused or rough skin. For hands, use the finest grit disc on Speed 1 only. Avoid the backs of the hands (thin skin) and focus only on callused palms and knuckles. Moisturise immediately after use on hands.

Foot Care Questions

How often should I use a callus remover?

For active calluses or cracked heels: every 2–3 days until the skin is smooth, then shift to maintenance. For maintenance (already smooth feet): once or twice a week. See our full guide on how to use an electric callus remover.

Should I soak my feet before using the Wygleam?

Yes — soaking for 10–15 minutes in warm water before use dramatically improves results. Softened skin responds much better to the rotating disc, and you’ll achieve smoother results in less time. Pat feet until damp (not soaking wet) before using the device. Read our guide on the right way to prep feet with a foot soak.

What causes calluses and cracked heels?

Calluses form in response to repeated friction and pressure — the skin thickens to protect itself. Cracked heels occur when callused skin becomes dry and splits under pressure. Key contributors include prolonged standing, open-backed footwear, dry skin, and insufficient moisturising. See our detailed guide on cracked heels: causes and treatments.

Is the Wygleam safe for people with diabetes?

People with diabetes should use extra caution due to reduced sensation and slower healing. Use only the fine disc on Speed 1, limit sessions to 60–90 seconds per area, and inspect skin carefully after each use. If you have significant neuropathy, we recommend having calluses managed by a podiatrist. See our full guide on diabetic foot care at home.
